A lawsuit was filed against Turkish and Middle Eastern Forum Foundation Founder and Chairman, author Fikret Başkaya related to his article, entitled, “The Real Terrorism is Government Terrorism.” The lawsuit was filed due to “illegal organization propaganda” through the article, that was published on the website of Özgür University on November 7, 2016. Özgür University is part of the Turkish and Middle Eastern Forum Foundation. The first hearing of the case will be held at Ankara 21st Assize Court on March 21, 2019, starting at 09:30.
